Duo Arrested Over Terror Threats Against Israelis

COLOMBO, SRI LANKA – Authorities in Sri Lanka have arrested two suspects who are suspected of being connected to terror plots against Israeli citizens. The arrests are part of a bigger scheme with a beleaguered wave of global tensions and heightened security concerns among Israeli travelers abroad.

According to officials, the suspects were arrested on the basis of intelligence reports that had warned in advance against threats to carry out attacks on Israeli tourists and diplomats. These arrested persons are being suspected to have contact with the networking of extremist groups of South Asia.
