Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Preload Begins

Huge news for the fans of Monster Hunter! Capcom finally made the announcement that lobbies for Monster Hunter Wilds would support up to 100 players. This change will be pretty big for the franchise, since up until now, there’s been no similar precedent. The game does, however offer active hunts with up to 16 players in one lobby and ensures that the matchmaking and further interaction of a large number of players are guaranteed to take place without any delay.

PS Plus Open Beta Details

PlayStation Plus members are now open beta preload and can preload before the access date is announced, on October 28th to October 30. The actual beta open period will take place starting on October 31 and continue until November 3 across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

As long as the beta is launched for the public, I assume that the features within should already be available, even offering story trial and special hunts with character creation data transfers between the final version. More importantly, cross-play features between the platforms guarantee such vast and inclusive gaming fun as well.

The game promises to reveal glimpses of its dynamic landscapes and upgraded monster behaviors during the beta. Capcom is scheduled to officially release the game on February 28, 2025. In-game rewards such as weapon pendants and item packs will be given to those who play the beta.

When will the full game launch?
