A Family Night Out for Angelina and Knox
Knox Jolie-Pitt, son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, returned to the spotlight for the first time in three years. The 16-year-old attended the Governor’s Awards in Los Angeles on November 17 with his Oscar-winning mom.
While Angelina dazzled in a yellow gown, Knox looked grown-up in a classic suit paired with a buzzed hairstyle. Their coordinated appearance marked a rare public outing for the Jolie-Pitt family, who typically keep a low profile.
A Glimpse Into the Jolie-Pitt Family
Knox last walked the red carpet in October 2021 at the London premiere of Eternals, where he supported Angelina with his siblings Maddox (23), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twin sister Vivienne (16). Notably absent from that event was his older brother, Pax (20).
The Jolie-Pitt children have often shied away from the limelight, according to Angelina. “They’re very private people and prefer staying out of the public eye,” she told E! News last year.
Despite their preference for privacy, the children have shown interest in the entertainment world. Two of Angelina’s sons, Maddox and Pax, assisted on her upcoming movie Maria, with roles in assistant directing and still photography.
Knox’s Hollywood Connection
Born on July 12, 2008, in Nice, France, Knox and his twin sister Vivienne grew up surrounded by creativity. Angelina has shared how her children often participate in her work.
Knox made his film debut in 2016, voicing a character in Kung Fu Panda 3. While Angelina said they were hesitant at first, she encouraged her kids to enjoy the experience.
Knox has also supported his siblings’ artistic ventures. His twin sister Vivienne served as an assistant producer for The Outsiders, a Broadway production Angelina produced earlier this year.
The Legacy of the Jolie-Pitt Kids
Maddox: Angelina’s First Son
Angelina adopted Maddox in 2002 from Cambodia. He later contributed as an executive producer on her film First They Killed My Father. The movie, based on the Cambodian genocide, reflected Maddox’s connection to his birth country.
After studying biochemistry at South Korea’s Yonsei University, Maddox recently joined Angelina at a White House state dinner. His passion for education and activism reflects his mother’s influence.
Pax: The Creative Mind
Born in Vietnam in 2003, Pax overcame a challenging start before becoming a vital part of the Jolie-Pitt family. He explored photography and filmmaking, serving as a set photographer on First They Killed My Father.
Pax also worked on Angelina’s fashion project Atelier Jolie, helping with creative designs and assisting on her film Without Blood.
Zahara: A Voice for Change
Adopted from Ethiopia in 2005, Zahara has been active in humanitarian work. She launched her own jewelry line and participated in Angelina’s advocacy efforts, including visits to refugee camps and speeches in Washington, D.C.
