Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, in Franklin, Tennessee. According to reports, the 41-year-old Cutler was charged with driving under the influence and possession of a handgun while under the influence and several other offenses, including failure to exercise due care and violation of implied consent-meaning he possibly refused a chemical test.
Cutler was being held overnight in Williamson County Jail before being released on bond late that evening. He is most noted for his playing time with the Chicago Bears, though for a couple of years with the Miami Dolphins. Mostly out of the public view since retirement, this has been except for the fact of his high-profile marriage to and then divorce of reality star Kristin Cavallari.
