The Spanish actress, Elisa Mouliaá, publicly accused the former politician Íñigo Errejón of sexual assault, and thus filed a complaint with the National Police’s Family and Women Unit (UFAM) of the abuse. According to her, the incident occurred in 2021 during the private soiree; Errejón had locked the door of one of the rooms and started kissing her, also touching her with his hand without any kind of consent.

Taking to social media site X, formerly Twitter, the actress recounts having kept mum in the first place owing to Errejón’s public stature. She has taken legal action now and hopes to galvanize other women against coming out with their experience. Mouliaá also shared her discomfort at the situation as “she was paralyzed” while it was all happening.

Errejón was understood last week to be stepping down from public life after private reasons – accompanied by piling anonymous accusations of inappropriate conduct against him. Mouliaá’s is the first formal complaint.
